Daytrip to Grinda

Service Description

Grinda is an island located in the middle archipelago outside Vaxholm and the boattrip to Grinda takes approximately one hour from the inner city. Grinda offers delightful Swedish archipelago nature with pastures, livestock animals (cows and lambs), offers possibilities to swim, take walks, and a guest house and a waterfront restaurant. Grinda is perfect for enjoying the swedish archipelago nature and at the same time being able to enjoy the delicious food served at Grinda Värdshus or the waterfront restaurant. Grinda also offers possibilities for swimming, sitting at the beach and enjoying nature. The day trip will start at approximately 10 AM and we will return to Stockholm at around 8 PM. All adult participants need to guarantee swimming capacity. Included in the price is: • A cruise out from Stockholm inner city, through the inner archipelago, vi Vaxholm and out to Grinda • Private skipper • Gas (will be invoiced after the trips ending) • Drinks and snacks for the boat tour • Weather guarantee Not included in the price • Food and meals General information: Good weather guarantee Safety and having a good experience is a priority at Picboats. Being out at sea in bad weather conditions is not pleasant neither for you nor for us. Therefore the final confirmation of the trip will be done when the weather forecast permits, 0-2 days before departure, to ensure safety and a pleasant experience for us all. The picboats skipper will have contact with on the days prior to your excursion. If the weather looks to be on the limit of being acceptable, make sure to have a back up plan for the day in Stockholm. If the time permits, the trip will be rescheduled, otherwise you have a full refund of the prepayment. Before the trip The boat is equipped with life jackets for all passangers. The boat is an open boat, so make sure to bring warm clothes. This may especially be the case for afternoon and evening trips. Please be aware that the vessel is equipped with a toilet (Porta Potti (please google)) however without possibility for a closed environment and is brought for in crisis situations. Therefore it is advised to the best of abilities, ensure use of a proper toilet on beforehand.
